Look, Listen, Touch and Dream A celebration of the sea. Listen! The sea is near. What can you hear? Whispering and splashing, Pattering and crashing. Now the waves sigh And the seagulls cry. Look! See, the tide courses. Watch the white horses Dipping and diving, Hardly surviving! Enjoying their ride, Then gone with the tide. Touch! As the shadows steal What can you feel? The cold tingle of spray As the waves rush away. The soft, creamy foam, Before you go home. Dream! Of gentle sea motion: Relaxing potion. Pretend you’re afloat In a cushion lined boat And be lulled to sleep By the sea.

About the Book
This book has some rather more serious content than ‘Its A Funny Old Life’, however, there is still room for much lighter musings. So much of life can be pigeon-holed into different categories. It is necessary to be serious some of the time but never forget to relax and find a laugh. It makes the world go round. Have a look, what do you think? From dark to light; from sad to happy. Beauty with a sting. Something for everyone!
About the Author
J. B. Eden has written a follow-up book to ‘Its A Funny Old Life’. She lives in Southampton, having taught in Essex, Singapore and Hampshire. Her travels have taken her all over the world and have provided many interesting and memorable moments. There are still places to go and people to see. Now retired, besides writing she enjoys being with her family and friends, a very sociable aqua-fit class and travelling when possible.
