About the Author

Trudi Carter is a first-time author. She lived her childhood in New York on Long Island and attended college upstate. While at college, she wrote the first version of Can Dragons and Frogs Be Friends? Moving to Iowa, she enjoyed teaching students to write and share their own poetry and books. Recently retired, she found her book and decided to publish it. Her love of nature – the forest and the beach - enriched the details of the story. Today she lives in Atlanta, Georgia, and has two grown children.
