FOR THE GLORY OF GOD. The first law of surpassing importance in the divine order has to do with the glory of God. All prayer, as well as all acts and thoughts of life, should have for their chief end the glory of God. Anything else than this is unworthy of those who claim to know and serve him. Much prayer falls short of this goal. Even the mature believer awakens to discover that he often wishes to gratify carnal desires or bring to pass whatever will fulfill his own egotistic goals even at the expense of others. Moreover, he sometimes deliberately chooses his own will in preference to the will of God. All this does not glorify God.

About the Book
This book will give many answers to explain the hows and whys of our prayer life. Explanations are given about prayers being answered yes, no, or hold on. Also the things that will govern and control our prayer life will be expounded upon.
About the Author
The author has pastored churches in Texas and Arkansas. He has been in ministry since 1986. He holds two doctorates, one in biblical studies from Patriot Bible University and a Ph.d in theology from Louisiana Baptist University. He is now senior pastor of First Missionary Baptist Church in Duncanville, Texas where he resides with his wife and son.
