I realize that this book may not be for everyone at this time. However, it is necessary to challenge the sensibilities of man-made traditions, which have made the word of present truth of no effect to this generation. I invite you to listen to your own inner Christ intelligence which is able to lead you to your truth, rather than listening to the feeble attempts of men’s voices that are only plunging us into the depths of unanswered questions. In this day, there are several versions of the Bible. I suggest choosing the version which best suits your understanding of language. II Timothy 2:15 says: Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. The study presented in this book is based on the “Thompson Chain-Reference Bible”, “Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible”, the guidance of the inner teacher – the Holy Spirit, and spiritual common sense. The result has challenged much of the second-handed information that has been passed down through Christian patriarchy. This scripture also mentions, “rightly dividing the word of truth”. To do this, we need to discern which scriptures are inspired by God and which scriptures contain man’s perceptions and hidden political and cultural agenda’s. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. (II Timothy 3:16 KJV) The Greek lexicon shows us that translators omitted a comma after the word scripture and added the word is in the King James Version. Therefore, the scripture should read, in its proper context, “All scripture, given by inspiration of God and profitable for doctrine….” It is important to note that italicized words indicate that the translators or KJV have added them. Western religious thought has put a great emphasis on the masculinity of God. For the sake of language and the flow of reading, the pages that follow mostly address God in the masculine form. However, I honor and acknowledge the Goddess/Mother aspect of deity, (as shown in the name – El Shaddai, (the large and many-breasted one) that I equally celebrate in spirit. If you are in the process of re-examining old childhood beliefs and have realized there has to be a “more excellent way,” this book is for you. With this in mind, I invite you to open your minds and your hearts to this great process of incarnation, when an adventurous playful Creator chose to experience and play the game of humanity with all of its diversity. My premise is that a Creator could not create anything less than itself as that would result in pity. Creating anything greater than itself would result in admiration. Only creating that which is equal results in love! You are the creator experiencing the richness of this human journey. You are god on assignment!

David Hulse, D.D. Awakening the Body of Christ Throughout his years of spiritual searching, David has challenged many traditional doctrines, theologies and dogmas.
