Proverbs 22:6- Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he won’t depart from it. Children are an inheritance from God he also say in, “Isaiah 26-3” thou will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stated on thee. Children need choices: Choices have many meaning (1) act of choosing; selection (2) Power of choosing; option. (3) That which is most excellent; the best part. (4) A sufficient number and variety to choose among; also a choice supply. So you see we have to teach them choices, and let them know whatever choice they make it is their choice, and they are responsible for their choice.

About the Author

I’m Charlotte Carter born November 17, 1939 to the late Thomas and Charlotte Smith. I’m the mother of 6 sons, Jessie, Wesley, Gerald (deceased), Ronald, Michael and David. One daughter Jerniece Norman, Seven (7) grandchildren, Five (5) sisters, Mary (deceased), Vevnell (deceased), Rosa, Mable, Louise. Five (5) brothers, James (deceased), Robert, John (deceased), Sylvester, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. I have been saved and walking with the Lord for over 38 years. . Received my Bachelor Degree as a Christian Counselor from the “Lego Christian College” under “The Guidance of Free Gospel Church” where Dr. Mike Jones the Dean, Stanley Smith and Sybil Covington. To all my single parents be encouraged and keep “God” in your life and you will never go wrong. Remember this scripture “I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.” Pray and keep me in your prayers.
