About the Book

This particular volume is a trip down memory lane and connected directly to two men who figured prominently in her life. The settings often reflect the scenes of an Ohio countryside, ocean panoramas and mountain/desert love.

About the Author

Born in Long Island, Ms. Sadler grew with a love of the sea from her maternal grandfather, a sea captain. She moved west to attend various colleges, majoring in Physical Ed. and English, with minors in Vocal Music and Health. After nine years of teaching, she moved again to the Four Corners area, where she lived and worked for many years on the Navajo and Ute Mountain Indian Reservations. During this time, she earned an MA in counseling. She connected to relatives there, and learned a lot about her Native American heritage. She currently lives retired in Colorado, where she spends her time writing, singing and walking the mountain trails. Like most people, she has had joys and tragedies, and often writes about losses of those close to her.
