Wonka is a big boy at 20 feet in length, as large as his mother’s head, weighing a hefty 3,600 pounds. That sounds big, but you have to remember that his mother is 55 feet long and weighs 79,000 pounds. Wonka also has a unique birthmark, a long white stripe from just below the blowhole all the way to the tip of his nose.

About the Book
The story of Wonka the Whale begins where he is born, in the south Atlantic off the coast of Brazil. Immdeiately he swims and starts to explore and we travel with him, discovering the ocean life all around him. We watch him grow and prepare for the journey he is about to take.
About the Author
I was born in 1947 in Brooklyn, NY and was raised on Long Island, NY. I am now retired after starting my own business in 1984. I was a manufacturers representative, providing sales and marketing services for manufacturing firms around the world. I have 4 sons and when they were young our family vacationed on Nantucket island every summer. Since Nantucket is famous for it's Whaling history, I started telling bed time stories about Nantucket and the whales, and created the character Wonka The Whale. The boys loved Wonka and requested Wonka stories evry night we were on Nantucket. Now that they are older and I have my 1st grandson and another on the way, I decided to write and dedicate the story of Wonka the Whale to my grandchildren, so that they may enjoy Wonka and pass his tale to future generations.
