The Secret of the Wonderful, Little Christmas Mice

Everyone slept well, every one except for Millie that is, who tried but at 5:00 a.m. her internal clock said it was time to head to the kitchen. Only one short hour after they had finally gotten to their beds was everyone woken up, not by the tasty smell of Millie eggs and bacon that always drew a crowd, nor was it by the fresh aroma of Millie’s Rise and Shine Cinnamon Buns that made your mouth water. But it was the piercing sound of Millie’s voice as she screamed that made everyone jump out of their beds and run to the kitchen. The sight that stood before them was something never before seen. Millie stood frozen on the spot as did the mice, about a hundred of them. Tyler looked at his aunt Millie and then he looked at the mice. ‘Awesome’ he said. And then something miraculous happened, one of the mice, began to speak, he looked a little different than the others, a little pudgy and hair stuck right up on the top of his head, none of the others did, they just looked like regular mice.
