About the Author
Kent Castle is a retired NASA engineer and a figure skating insider. He has written three college textbooks and over sixty scientific articles, and has served on the faculty at four major universities. He also serves as an advisor to government agencies and as a consultant to industry. His fiction style combines rational character behavior with accurate detail to produce realistic stories that sound like they actually happened. His characters' strengths, weaknesses, motivations, and emotions guide their behavior. The plot unrolls more through dialogue than description as each character's attitudes and desires motivate their actions. Skating fans will appreciate the insight and attention to detail in his description of the figure skating world.
