Once on a hill There sat a small dragon His name was Scruffy And he had a red wagon “What shall I do With this wonderful day?” Scruffy thought sadly, With no one to play. “I guess I could go For a small walk Until I can find Someone to talk” He hadn’t gone far When he heard a quiet call “Will you give me a ride? I am ever so small.” Scruffy looked down At a small little snail With a shiny blue shell Who looked rather pale “You with the wagon, Will you give me a ride? I’m all out of breath I’ve got a stitch in my side.” “Sure,” Scruffy said, “I don’t mind at all I’ve nothing to do And you’re very small.” Scruffy bent down And helped the small snail Into his wagon And continued down the trail.

Felicia Gill and her husband Tom live in a small house near a river in Missoula, Montana. She has a miniature Aussie named Lil’ Bear, who’s too smart for his own good, and a mostly toothless cat named Gema (fondly referred to as Gummy Bear).
