It’s My Birthday!
Christmas of 1985, my Mother Desire was interrupted in front of the television when her water broke. I heard my Mother was a beautiful woman with eyes as blue and wide as God’s sky with a face some would say, like an angel. I heard in her hay day she could have any man she wanted, but fell in love with the wrong one who left her for another woman. Her story states she stayed depressed for the rest of her days. I could not imagine being depressed for that long. A little sad, but depressed for eternity it’s just not heard of. My Mother had been the only case to have been this way, but let’s not get side tracked let me finish.
On that night feeling the labor pains strong, my Mother hurried to the holiday traffic to find a cab, but only found the cold damp ground. Holding her belly she leaned to the side catching concrete. Friendly neighbors who owned a store under Desire’s apartment helped her off the ground. They put her in their car making it to the hospital just in time for me to be born. Holding me for just a second, my Mother noticed something terribly wrong. I stopped breathing. She franticly blew into my mouth to get my heart pumping while the neighbors shouted to the nurses. They pushed the friendly neighbors out the door as the doctors tried real hard to revive me, but it was too late. I passed away, dying. She named me Destiny Desire Haven and as I passed that Christmas night, her face faded away and within a blink, all was dark, but there was a glimmer of light as I transcended.
Don’t be sad guys. I only died in the earthly realm, but beyond your world there is another. Do you believe in Heaven and Hell? Well, I just wanted to confirm to whomever is reading this story Heaven and Hell is quite real, but it is not what your mind would think it up to be. It is quite like your world, but with a lot of rules, rules that can’t be broken. Especially for someone like me with very special circumstances, but anyway back to my story.
Did you know on earth when babies die, they are granted angelic angel wings in Heaven, but for someone who just passes away wings have to be earned taking centuries to receive them, if at all? It’s true. Each time the long gone and dead would receive a pair of wings, it is a gift and Heaven’s bells ring. Throughout the kingdom the bells could be heard from the Opel, the highest hill south of Heaven’s temple and even heard in the pits of Hell. Some even say to keen blessed ears on Earth, the bells rang. It didn’t happen often, but when it did the angels would say, “God has found purpose this day.” Stopping in their tracks to listen to the echoes of the bells until the last ding, or dong was heard not moving. Those dead who received their wings were considered lucky, blessed. Though, they would not receive halos. Halos were only for the enchanted creatures of Heaven born to their world, not for the vacationing dead.
Wings were a big thing for those who walked the golden paths of Heaven. It meant you were worthy and special to him (God), but it also meant you had been one of the chosen to do a job of vast importance having purpose. Whatever the purpose was from God, no one ever knew what that job was. For the dead and long gone, it was their only chance to be the same like all the other blessed creatures in Heaven. So, they kept a tight lip never ever telling a soul to keep their wings. They just did their job earning the right to be one of the privileged never going against the will of God not to defeat his purpose, or theirs.
On the day I died, like all the other babies unborn from your world, we are transferred to the factory for inspection called Michtam Storks Inc., the MSI. In the MSI, there are millions and millions of babies inspected before being released to roam Heaven. All babies must have a grade of A living up to the high quality standards enforced by God. If a baby is not properly equipped, or trained, oh boy there would be hell to pay. Unlike your earthly babies who can only cry, the unborn babies here can talk, work and play way much earlier than your babies. A gift from him, God believed the babies unborn were sent not to be cared for, but to care for other people down on the Earth, or in Heaven. For us babies, God had found purpose and in his eye sights he did not consider us as ever having a human life. Being born to Heaven he granted us angelic wings to fulfill the third in Heaven in which he had lost long ago to you know who? I dare not speak his name.
Babies that earn the right to go back to Earth can, but none go. They had everything they needed up in Heaven. Many thought, why go through the whole process of life just to die to come back. So, they stayed not wanting to waste their time, nor lose their wings. However, because the need to make sure things would not go wrong was great, there were only one set of people for the jobs at MSI, the Italian mob bosses. Hired by God, they were precise, hardworking, and determined not stopping until they got the job done and done right to-a-tee. Though they use to be cleaners on Earth, Hell nicknamed them the Movers stealing their deal with the almighty.
