About the Book

Often people think and feel insignificant, "nothing" could be further from the truth! Every single one of us is "significant", does have a purpose, and "will" make a difference! This book is a collection of short stories, and essays written by me based upon real life experiences that will enlighten, inform, and delight your heart, clearly point out how very significant YOU (we) are, and hopefully, make "YOU" feel good about being "YOU". I know YOU have a reason for being, a purpose, and as YOU read my words throughout this book, I truly hope and pray YOU will be inspired to look within YOUR mind and heart, find YOUR passion, and choose to pursue it as best YOU can! Why? Because OUR World is all the better for YOU being in it, especially when YOU choose to; DARE TO BE YOU! Shall WE begin?

About the Author

My Father told me when I was 10, "to put my words in writing, and I would always be heard". I took his advice, and he was right, I have been writing ever since and absolutely love it! He also taught me how valuable learning was, especially learning History. Why History? Because he pointed out to me, that History consists of stories about people and places, and since Human Nature remains pretty constant, if we learn about History, we can learn a great deal about Human Nature. By learning that, hopefully, we can make better choices, and choose to do more of what's right, and less of what's wrong! My life experiences eventually caused me to look within my mind and heart in search of what I was most passionate about. For me, it was the desire to be a positive influence on others through my writing. With my years of Service to OUR Country in the U.S. Marine Corps, the Army National Guard, and the Army Reserve, coupled with my life experiences before and after my Service years, I have many stories to tell with many an interesting perspective, and hopefully, will entertain you,inspire you, and influence you positively. I continue to live and work on Long Island in the State of New York with family, and as often as is humanly possible, I continue to live my dream, and write words from my heart. Thank-you for allowing me the opportunity to put a smile on your face, and a positive thought within your mind and heart with my written words!
