About the Author

Sharis Pitt-Goines is the Founder of People Helping People Counseling Ministries, Incorporated, which is a Not-For-Profit Ministry reaching out to assist individuals and families in their search for fulfillment, resolution, and inner healing. She has served as a Licensed Missionary for 35 years. She is a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington, IN, and the Interdenominational Theological Center, Atlanta, GA, where she graduated as an Honor Student with a Master of Arts in Christian Education and a Master of Divinity with a Concentration in Pastoral Care and Counseling. She maintained a membership with the American Association of Christian Counselors for approximately 10 years. She is now serving under the umbrella of the Showers of Inspiration International Fellowship and supports her husband, Supt. Hazie Goines, in his Pastoral Administration.

Sharis Pitt-Goines was born and reared in Evansville, Indiana, where she served for many years in the field of Social Services. During her years of service, she has served as Director of Youth Programs, Program Director of the Healthy Families Initiatives, and as a Home Based Family Counselor. For approximately 10 years, she opened her heart and her home to fostering children for the State of Indiana. She established the C. H. Mason Bible Institute in Evansville and the Little Angels of Paradise Child Development Center in Georgia.

God’s anointing in her life has brought her to a place of total acceptance of God’s Will and Purpose for her very existence.
