About the Book

Golf should be a fun, magical, memorable experience. This book does not offer some hidden mind trick or ancient secret. It provides a solid foundation where you can find yourself and build.

The book gets you started if you’re just beginning. Or started on the right next step from where you currently are now, so that you’ll be able to transform your game. You will better understand the information you already have, you will hear, and you will see to get you better.
Once you hear new information, you can evaluate it both mentally and physically and use it to change your body. This book does not offer a jedi mind trick, it’s must have, fundamental understanding.

First, this book offers simple, fundamental ideas. Ollen offers simple clarity, removing the mystery of how to learn golf. Learn a process to improve. You will learn to play your best.

About the Author

Andrew D. Cohn began playing golf at age nine. Shortly thereafter, he was hooked. He improved his game with random golf lessons and hard work.
Before Andrew met Ollen, his low score was 76, and his (unrealistic) goal was 69. Ollen taught Andrew everything he didn’t know about the golf swing, and Andrew wondered how he was able to shoot in the 70s knowing as little as he did.
Flow, timing, and hand-eye coordination can take you places. After a year and a half hiatus from practicing golf, playing on most Sundays, Ollen gave Andrew a five-minute lesson on video. Then Ollen gave Andrew a five-minute putting lesson. Andrew went out on a course that week and shot a 76.
Ollen helped improve Andrew’s low to a 73. That 69 was now a possibility.
In the course of writing this book, Andrew rigorously followed the process. After he logged another 76, and told Ollen about his disappointment, Ollen replied, “It’s not a game of perfect. See how well you can do, even though you’ve still got a way to go.”
As a family man, businessman, and author, practice time was scarce. Yet here are the results:
• Andrew realized the 76 was due to good hand-eye coordination and a relaxed application of a good, new idea.
• For the next month or so, the handicap continued to track downward due to improvement. Ranging between 78 and 83.

Even though the 69 still eludes Andrew, Ollen says Andrew is making good progress. Andrew wishes he had met Ollen when he was younger.
Andrew has a beautiful wife, Laura, and three fantastic children. At this point, none of them want to play golf with him! A comment on his personality, his overzealous love of the game, or just an example of the sense of humor of the universe? You decide. Andrew named his dog Nicklaus.
