Tom stood there confused; due to all the problems and his busy schedule he had not checked his email for a long period of time. Well he did not worry too much because he still had hopes for the other ticket he reserved though it was the expensive one. He had no choice because the 28th July was the last day he was to be in Russia.
He took a taxi, went to that agency and presented his reservation number and was told that they could not find that number. The agent responded that the number was not in the system. Tom thought they were joking. He mentioned the exact time and date that he called and made the reservation. But the agent told him that nothing was in the system and they had no more tickets for that flight or any other flight. Kristina had deleted that reservation from the computer and sold the ticket to another person. Tom begged the agent to try and find any ticket for him, no matter the price he was ready to pay. [Valery, I have had to change some bits here, as this section starts when it is 24th July, and then you suddenly move to the 27th, and it's still the same day – so I have made some amendments to make it more consistent]
By the 27th July, the agent and her contacts had still not been able to find a flight for Tom. Tom had really begun to panic. Suddenly the phone rang, and the agent told him she had found a flight for him leaving Moscow the next morning at 11am. However the flight was super business class and cost six thousand dollars for one way. Tom had no other choice; he had to leave the country, so he told the agent to book the flight.
The problem now was, how was he going to travel to Moscow from St Petersburg? It was already 7pm. The distance was 8 hours by train and 2 hours by air. If there was a train leaving that day even as late as 1am he could still caught the flight. The agent contacted the railway office and there were no tickets available. Also there were no flights available from St Petersburg to Moscow that night. The earliest was at 10am the next morning. Tom took a deep breath, collected his ticket, thanked the agent and left the office. He was still trying to figure out how he would get to Moscow on time to catch his flight, but nothing was coming to his mind. He went to the apartment just to try and see if Natalia wasn`t there so that he could try and pick up some of his belongings. Luckily Natalia was not in. He quickly packed his belongings and called a taxi to take him to his hotel. He sat at the hotel wondering what to do. He called about 5 different taxi agencies again increasing the price even, but no taxi driver was ready to travel to Moscow. He left the hotel to see if he could get someone with a private car that could be ready to drive him to Moscow. As he came out of the hotel he met Natalia’s husband at the hotel entrance, “hey Negro I am coming for you. So you are still here? I thought we arranged that today was your last day in Russia”. Tom replied “yes I know but it is not yet midnight sir”. Alan responded saying “look my friend don’t try my patience”. As he took out his phone to call his boys who were waiting for him inside the car, Tom stopped him “please don’t kill me sir”. He continued to explain everything to Alan about how he couldn’t get to Moscow at the moment because of transportation problems. Alan then called one of his drivers and asked him to drive Tom to Moscow that night. Alan was prepared to do everything for Tom to stay away from his wife forever. They arrived in Moscow at 7am in the morning of 28th July and Tom went straight to the airport. Natalia’s husband left for home, and as he was about to make the last bend to his residence There was a large Truck waiting for him, as the truck driver spotted Alan’s Mercedes he ran into it with such a speed that squeezed the Mercedes to ground level. That was it, Alan died on the spot with his body parts lying all over the accident scene. Natalia had paid professional killers to eliminate him so that she could finally have Tom in her arms without Tom having any fear again. Tom was walking majestically down the hallway of the airport to get into the plane, when his phone rang. He picked it up and it was Natalia.
Tom: “Hey! beibi, how are you?”
Natalia: “I am fine sweet heart. It is over sweet heart”
Tom: “what is over?”
Natalia: “he is dead”
Tom: “who is dead?”
Natalia: “my husband”
Tom: “Oh!! Myyy God what happened? I was with him last night”
Natalia: “car accident, a truck crushed him down in his car”
Tom: “sorry accept my condolence I am in the plane right now and we are taking off in 5 minutes for Canada, bye!”
Tom removed the SIM card from his phone and threw it away. Tom was very sure that Natalia must have had a hand in her husband's death, and he was just thinking that if he even decides not to travel to Canada, he would never like to lay his eyes on Natalia again. Natalia tried to call again but there was no connection. That was the end of a bitter sweet romance. After two weeks Natalia was arrested for organizing the death of her husband and was sentenced to 18 years imprisonment. That was a very small sentence, but she had very good lawyers and money to bring down her sentence to that.
