As a mother, she told hundreds of stories that became instant bedtime classics for her son and the many other children who called her “Mom”. As a teacher, she uses many of these stories to enhance the lessons that she shares with the students in her first grade classroom. Frances has also always possessed a great love for art. In college, she took courses in photography, sculpting, drawing and painting. One of her award winning paintings, entitled Golden Harvest, was chosen to appear on the cover of the Darton College Fairly Graphic Art Magazine. The images for this story were created by using a simple technique which involved crayons, markers and baby wipes. When she is not writing or creating works of art, Frances enjoys singing, going to the movies and spending time with family and friends.
