About the Book

This is a simple tale in rhyme about a little girl who enjoys helping her mum to unload the washing. As mum arranges the clothes into piles she asks the question "Missing socks again!" "What happens to them? They go into the machine as a pair and manage to come out odd!!" Seen through the eyes of child you are taken on an imaginary journey as she explains to the reader her thoughts of what really happens to these missing socks!

About the Author

Hello again. My name is Pam Hazlehurst and I live in the United Kingdom with my husband. I am a mother and grandmother. I am employed as a Teaching Assistant at my local School. It is a job I love and feel very lucky to hold. My hobbies include spending time with my husband, 2 daughters and my gorgeous grandchildren - Luke, Cristiano, Landon and Scarlett. I enjoy reading, sewing and of course writing. The idea for my third book The Mystery of Socks came to me when my husband mentioned, he couldn't find the other sock to his favourite pair. That got me thinking because ending up with odd socks seems to be one of lifes mysteries. Where do they go??
