About the Book
A hardworking and spirited child aspires to work in an interesting profession, with some intriguing assignments in a variety of countries. She draws inspiration from her mother’s love and fine example of character. Unfortunately dark forces conspire to threaten her in this loveless world; they close in on her, aiming to shatter her dreams and break her spirit and integrity. The girl battles these devious forces from her young age and throughout her adulthood, achieving her dreams, as well as developing and relying on her strong faith and spirituality. She continues to encounter different enemies who try to undermine and overwhelm her character and her honesty. Within such darkness, a clearly visible beam of light shines forth. Events that some people classify as supernatural actually occur as real incidents.
Based on a true story, the play is a thriller which combines elements of oppression, defiance, endurance, satire and irony.
