We waited anxiously to see if we got any results from any of our efforts. Meanwhile we continued to question anyone we could find that was at the Mardi Gras parade to see if they had seen anything and tried to find any other lead that might point to where the puppy could have been taken. The trail was getting cold and the case was fast turning into a cold case.

About the Book
A puppy dissapears during a festive Mardi Gras parade. Dea Detective is on the case. It is a dfficult assignment but Dea is a very determined detective and she will pull out all of her tricks.
About the Author
The author was born near Mountain Grove. Her parents left there when she was only six years old but she always wanted to return to the South. She is doing that now with her writing and is living in Gulf Shores, Al. She lives with her husband and Dea, the heroine of the story.
