There are many things that humans cannot witness that only those who are born of a magical nature can see. An elven soul inside a human girl known only as Claire, at first, grows up to transform into her destiny while avoiding the evil that could befall her if she is captured by the infamous and powerful half elf known as Ayyn to his followers. As a child, she is aided by a Pan called Agreus who keeps her safe but will it always be that way or will the very nature of their relationship change as she grows into a young woman? Will the evil one use her for the dark purpose he has intended or will he fall victim to her in his own way? Ultimately, balance must be obtained in the elven realm but the cost may be a heavy price to pay for anyone who becomes involved in this tale that takes place from our realm to theirs.

About the Author
My name is Candace Beck Moesta. I have been a writer all of my life. When I was younger a wrote poetry, lyrics, and short stories. I had some of my poetry published as a teen and have been asked multiple times to write children's books. One day I may do that but for now I prefer to write about more adult themes. I studied at SMCC and USM under an English Major. I took some time off to raise my family and attended nursing school. I worked as a nurse for over a decade to ensure that my family was properly supported and now I am going to return to finish what I started and one day achieve my goal of obtaining the PhD in English I so richly desire. I love classical literature as well as some of our more recent writing legends. E. A. Poe, Emily Bronte, Nathaniel Hawthorne, and George Gordon Lord Byron are some of the writers I enjoy as well as Ann Rice and the late Tom Clancy. I live in the south. The name of the town I reside in is McComb, MS. I am not originally from here, though. I was born in Hollandale, MS and raised in Louisiana. I am a wife and a mother of two wonderful sons. My family is a wonderful blessing and also a constant source of inspiration!
