Miss Happyfeet noticed a rather large cat sitting on the front porch of the farmhouse. She walked over to the porch and sat down on the steps next to the cat and was totally amazed. This cat was unlike any other cat she had ever seen before. His fur was a complete mixture of many bright colors; blue, red, orange, pink, black, purple, green, white, yellow, brown, aqua, silver and gold. He was a most beautiful, unique cat. He was six feet tall (three feet on all four paws.) “Good morning,” said the cat to Miss Happyfeet. “I suppose you are noticing my bright multicolored fur.
“Hello” said Miss Happyfeet in surprise. “Why, yes I was noticing your beautiful fur and also that you are rather nice and tall for a cat.”
“You think my fur is beautiful?” asked the cat?
Miss Happyfeet nodded. The cat smiled shyly.

Mr. and Mrs. Toes sent Twinkle Toes to pack his suitcase and say good-bye to his brothers and sisters.
While Twinkle Toes was doing this, Mr. and Mrs. Toes said, “There is one thing that you should know about Twinkle Toes. Do not mention the word “pizza” around him.”
“Why not?” asked Miss Happyfeet.
“Well said Mr. Toes, “it is his favorite food and he tends to become very happy and enthusiastic when he is going to eat pizza. You'll see.”
“I'll be careful,” said Miss Happyfeet, laughing.

About the Book
Like other stories in the Twinkle Toes series, One of a Kind emphasizes an acceptance of diversity that fosters love and compassion for all mankind and will appeal to children ages three through eight. One of a Kind is the story of how Miss Happyfeet and Grama Happyfeet met Twinkle Toes and how he came to join their family. About the Author
Faye Parsons is the author of the “Twinkle Toes” series of children’s picture books which teach children important lessons about love and acceptance. Ms. Parsons has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and a Master of Arts Degree in Teaching. She has had an extensive career as a school teacher and a Sunday school primary teacher. Ms. Parsons is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoys writing, playing golf and participating in church activities.
