About the Book

Being afraid of storms is a fairly natural occurrence, but when a rain drop is frightened this is quite unusual. See how Little Drop over comes his fears, and becomes quite adventurous.

About the Author

I am a retired nurse. I worked in a long term care facility for thirty-five years. Writing, drawing and painting have always been forms of relaxation for me.When my grandchildren were young I would make up stories to tell them when I would babysit. My youngest daughter suggested that I might write a book about a raindrop who was afraid of storms, hence Little Drop was born. I have nine grandchildren and have told a lot of stories over the years. Anytime you can share a story and make someone smile, it is all worth it. I have also written many poems to help friends who were experiencing difficult times of loss and intense sadness, to give hope and peace to a friend is very satisfying.
