About the Book

Caring for a sick newborn in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) has its challenges. The many families that experience their newborn admitted to the NICU is even more difficult. This storybook provides siblings and their families a means to cope and understand the journey of their sick newborn to health.

About the Author

Dr. Lockhart is a board certified pediatrician specializing in neonatology who has been creating stories since childhood. She was inspired early on to utilize her writing interests as a tool to assist families in understanding the care of the sick newborn in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
