I was restless that night, the nightmares came back; haunting me every moment I surfaced to consciousness, never remembering but feeling it. I woke up, soaked in sweat, around 1:00 am to the sounds of wolves howling. It was rare to hear them in town, but I know it would become more common. I knew they were calling me, Cam’s pack….my pack…if I chose to join them. At that time, I still thought that was the choice I was supposed to make when I went to see Cam. But I didn’t know it all, not then.

Ami has been drawn into the strange world of the "Nagual", a shape shifting creature that is trying to show her the way. His way is wrong. She must use the "Knowing" to stay ahead of the darkness.
About the Author
I have been writing stories since high school for my family to read. I love to write about the strange things that can happen to people, and about science fiction creatures. I grew up in a very small town in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, surrounded by National Forests.
