MY POEMS My poems are not just words to me, They come from in my heart. There's no one even has the right To tear them all apart. I feel the things I say and I say the things I feel. Some may disagree, that's fine. But, my feelings are very real. Feelings, like opinions, Sometimes hard to express. This is my way to voice them, Perhaps my very best. There's some who may not like them And choose not to read. And others may just love them, And choose to take my lead. To put it all in writing Helps get it off my chest. To hold it all inside they say Is not the very best. So read them if you'd like to, Toss them if you will. But, know their all a part of me. This is how I feel.

It’s not that I’m lost Or don’t know who I am. I’m where I belong and happy. But those questions, Always questions but never answers. I’m a wife, a Mother, and a Grandmother. I’m strong, independent, a survivor. My faith is true and I love life. But those questions. Cathy Crawford knows that expressing feelings can be challenging. About the Author
Cathy Crawford was adopted at a young age, and subsequently battled many emotions that eventually compelled her to write about her feelings. By expressing herself, she learned self-acceptance and love. She is a wife, mother, and grandmother who currently resides in Sacramento, California. This is her first collection of poetry.
