About the Book

So many people have been hurt within some churches today and unfortunately, a lot of the hurt has come from the leaders in these churches.
The Pastors, Elders, Bishops, whatever their title may be, seem to have lost their way, thus leading those who follow them astray.
This book has been written to remind those leaders that God is watching how they are handling “His” sheep. And for the members, to remind them to worship God more than they worship man.
If they are successful in doing that, then they will remain focused and avoid being  led astray by those Pastors who Prey.

About the Author

Ms. Elaine Gates has a deep passion for writing, and  is so excited to be Self-Publishing her third book through Authorhouse  Publishing Company.
Her first book, which was also her autobiography, entitled, “ALL THAT I AM, I OWE TO GOD”, was published in 2009.  Her second book,  entitled  “IN SEARCH OF LOVE”,  which asked the question to thirty one individuals, How Do You Know When You’re In Love ?, was published in 2010.
Ms. Gates, who is also a Playwright, has remained busy writing Plays. In 2013, she wrote and directed the Christmas Play, “GOT TO HAVE FAITH”, which was performed before a full house at the Sixth Street Baptist Church, in Lakewood, NJ.
Recently, as of August, 2014, Ms. Gates completed her newest Play entitled, “CUT THE CORD”, which will be performed in 2015.
Now, she has returned having completed her third book, “PASTOR’S THAT PREY, CAUSING GOD’S SHEEP TO STRAY”.

Ms. Gates resides in New Jersey, along with her children, grandchildren, family and friends.
