The Cancer Patient, by Alonzo Milbourne, tells the captivating story of a young woman’s journey into womanhood while struggling with the reality that she has been diagnosed with cancer. “Joy” is pushed into greater, personal discovery as she grapples with the same disease that took her Mother years prior. Her battle with cancer parallels her ability to cope with fear, self-doubt and her own mortality. While facing the issues that she faces such as struggles, alongside her Father, while they both encounter a battle they hoped never to meet again.
About the Author
Alonzo Milbourne was born in Charleston, South Carolina. He attended Bremerton High School in Bremerton, Washington. He has been acting now for five years through Tiffany Talent, which is located in Seattle, Washington. For approximately six years, he has been a guitarist.
