About the Author

Rufina Charlery is a St. Lucian. She holds a first degree in economics from the University of the West Indies, Barbados, and a master’s in international affairs (economic policy management) from Columbia University in the City of New York. Rufina spent seven years as an economist within the public service and then fourteen years in the banking sector, with ten of those as a credit risk analyst. She has one daughter.
