Encourage Yourself and Other Folks

Have you heard that saying “Don’t make mountains out of molehills” Don’t let the setbacks get you down. We all go thru setback, however we need to keep it moving. They are inevitable and they will happen. Whatever you do, don’t let a setback put you into a pity party. Acknowledge that it’s a setback and get right back up because joy comes in the morning. You just encouraged yourself once again. Dealing with the stress of everyday life can be very hard at times. I have learned over the years to let go and let GOD. It took me some years to get to that point but I got there. Thank You JESUS! Write yourself an encouraging note or better yet say something nice to yourself once in a while. My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding. (Psalms 49:3) Words can have a powerful impact on your mindset. We’ve all heard the saying “Sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me.” I don’t know who came up with that one. The fact is that words really do have an impact on how we feel. Surround yourself with positive people. The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings out that which is good, and the evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings out that which is evil, for out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks. (Luke 6:45) It is very important to ask for help when you need it. Having a solid support group that you can lean on is not only resourceful, but it’s just good sense. Because staying motivated is a struggle. Have you ever wanted something so bad until you can almost see it? That’s all you think about day in and day out. When you only think about what you want, your mind creates explanations for why you aren’t getting it. Did you know that you are leaving room for the negative thoughts to come in? You start making excuses for why you don’t have it. You have to keep a positive mind going all the time and I know that can be hard to do sometimes.
