About the Book
‘Wild Animals – Poetry for Young Children’ – invites young children to see a variety of wonderful wild animals. There’s plenty to spot while looking for what’s hiding in the wild. Each Animal is pictured in striking illustrations and described by a poem. Young children can learn to recognise the different wild animals. Teachers and families may want to try writing their own poems or have a discussion about the colours or the animals. This poetry book is suitable for babies, nursery children, and stage 1 readers. You can read the poems to your youngsters at any time, and when they are older, they can read the book to themselves.
