If a tree falls in the woods, did Snarl Fig cause it or Nutsy prevent it? In this fully illustrated children’s book, readers will get to meet Snarl Fig, a monster with an unusual calling, and Nutsy, a squirrel on a mission. They have one interesting thing in common. Watch how their lives intertwine in this never-ending story!
About the Author
Heather Heckel is a teaching artist with a background in illustration and art education. She received her BFA from Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida, and her MAT from the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. The inspiration for her artwork and writing comes from her interactions with her students. Heather currently lives in Manhattan and teaches at a public arts high school. She enjoys commuting on her bicycle, playing kickball, vegan cooking, and advocating for farm animal rights.
