About the Book

Cynthology: A Collection of Rhymes Book II – Electrified is Young’s latest book in the Cynthology collection. It includes more original rhymes and reader favorites from the first book. Like the first book, she continues to shoot straight from the hip in describing her view on a variety of subjects. Contemporary, relatable, and understandable is the best way to describe these rhymes. They are sexy, thought provoking, poignant, and just plain silly. Young’s sense of humor is evident in her rhymes, and they take you through twists and turns that can end unexpectedly and often leave you wanting more. Discover what happens when “Bad Kitty” goes on the prowl, and what made a woman “Draw the Line!” Praise the courage of “Pink Survivors” and find out what happened in “The Wrong House” reminisce with “Cartoons, Cowboys, and Superheroes.” Revelations are made in “The Closet” and the addict in “Sex Addiction” has a question for you. These are just a few of the many entertaining rhymes that keep you turning the pages. So don’t wait pick up your copy and find your favorites today!

About the Author

Cynthia Young was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Northwestern High School and later moved to California, where she resides with her husband. In 2006 she retired from her career as a human resources consultant in the aerospace industry. She enjoys interior design and martial arts. Young continues to evolve as an author and is already working on her next book. After many years of caring for the elders in her family, Young wrote her second book, Cynthology: A Collection of Rhymes. She used her rhymes as a way to decompress and express her views on various subjects that are relevant in today’s society. It is the first book in the Cynthology collection and includes one hundred unedited original rhymes. She wrote them to be relatable to readers from eighteen to eighty. Memoirs of a Caregiver is Young’s first book. She shares her journey of twelve years caring for her mother, two aunts, and a cousin. All of them suffered from Alzheimer’s disease and each of them lived alone in Detroit, requiring Young to travel there during these years to care for them. The long distance complicated her care efforts and trial and error taught her many things. While telling her poignant story, she shares what she learned throughout these years. She guides you on how to become a court-appointed conservator and guardian, attend court hearings without an attorney, file court documents, how to research the internet for housing and funding, and much more. A portion of the proceeds from Memoirs of a Caregiver is donated to the Alzheimer’s Association.
