Darkness & Light

In the beginning before the existence of time, there’s always been a never ending war between the Darkness and Light. The two opposing forces have forever struggled to coexist with one another but this begs the question; which opposing force was present before the other? In the absence of Light, Darkness will cast its shadow over everything but when Light is present, Darkness is masked waiting in the midst. In the absence of Darkness what remains?... Before any of the stars or any living organism existed there was nothing but an empty abyss of Darkness. Over multiple eternities the Darkness yearned for another; it formed a fierce and powerful never ending black hole which continuously fell into itself until countless particles came together as one to form a dense mass. The mass had no namable shape and grew to such a great enormousness that it eclipsed the size of the black hole; the Darkness was intrigued with its creation but was still not content with just the piece of solid mass of nothingness. The Darkness thus surrounded the mass with countless black holes and directed fierce whirlwinds towards it. The matter became more dense and compact; without any notice the most ferocious, powerful and blinding explosion occurred. This eruption shook the entire emptiness of space and projected chunks of the dark dense matter throughout space. As the pieces of matter screamed across space, they emitted a fiery glow and remained burning through which gave birth to the Light and the stars. The stars each had a never ending burning heart at its core which illuminated through space. Sometimes it takes an accident to create something magnificent. As time went on, the Darkness hypothesized the Light would eventually fade out and extinguish which would only leave behind the countless pieces of Dark Matter suspended in the empty nothingness of space. To the surprise of the Darkness, the Light did not extinguish; rather it fought for its existence. The two entities learned everything about the other but the Light was forever changing while the Darkness remained neutral. The Darkness continued to study and learn everything it could about the Light as it built its strength and burned more brilliant. The Light emitted an intense heat which drove the Darkness back but it was intrigued by the changes of the Light and wanted to see its true potential. The burning piece of matter danced in the emptiness of space and the Darkness realized its creation was the polar opposite of itself. The intensity of the brightness and heat became too much for the Darkness to bear and eventually it began to resent its creation. Throughout the eternities, the Light came to the understanding of how it came in to existence; curiosity built within the Light and begged the question if the Darkness created Light what can the Light create? The Light continued to transform and eventually it created a living single-celled organism. As the Light continued to evolve, so did the life and the Light accepted its creation. The Light soon realized its creation could not exist or carry on without the Light. The Light provided and nurtured its creation and as time went on, it soon developed its first feeling of love. As the Light developed a relationship with its creation, the life continuously evolved throughout time and the Light yearned to reach out to the other pieces of Dark Matter that lay dormant in space. It wanted a bigger share in the vast amount of space and wanted to create different forms of life on each star. To achieve this goal, the core of each desolate piece of Dark Matter had to be ignited in order to create and sustain life upon it. The Light tried to stretch across space to the desolate piece of Dark Matter but the Darkness would not allow it. Each time the Light reached out, the Darkness severed the path; it would not allow the Light a bigger portion in space. The Light believed it would need to sacrifice a piece of its eternal burning heart of another star in order to ignite the other pieces of Dark Matter and create new life. The small piece of the core symbolized hope for if the Light were able to gain access to the nucleus of another piece of Dark Matter then it could possibly create a spark. The spark could ignite the core and hopefully create another star able to replicate the life cycle and create new life. The Light began to ponder, how would it transport and navigate a piece of the heart of a star safely across the emptiness off space without the interference of the Darkness? The Light wanted nothing more but to gain a bigger portion in its existence but didn’t have the ability to do so. The Light had no option but to wait. As the Light cared more and more for its creation, the Darkness gained its first feeling of hate. This dreadful feeling of hate festered within the Darkness because it felt betrayed by the Light through the affection given to the life it created. The Darkness became jealous and vowed to extinguish the Light and return everything to how it once was before it created the Light. Eons passed the war raged between the two opposing forces; the Light did everything it could to defend itself from the advances of the Darkness. The brighter stars were able to stop the advances of the Darkness and drive it back but not all stars were as fortunate. The weaker stars were overpowered by the wickedness of the Darkness; one by one it surrounded the weaker stars and created multiple black holes around them which suffocated the Light and eventually each of their cores. Once the core of the star was extinguished, the star was returned to its original state of a cold lifeless piece of Dark Matter. The war between Darkness and Light continued throughout time and the life forms upon the stars greatly evolved in order to better defend themselves against the Darkness. As the Light changed so did the life forms; the single-celled organisms evolved to multiple celled organisms; rapidly more and more functionalities became present to better their survival. The weak organisms were unable to carry on and the dominate traits passed down from generation to generation. The primitive life forms eventually began to walk on two feet but also developed their own set of verbal and nonverbal forms of communication. Just as the primitive life forms learned about themselves, the Light also needed to be a constant for its creation to learn about it creation. Over countless generations, the life forms continued to advance both mentally and physically. The hate for the Light drove the Darkness mad and it wanted nothing more but to return everything back to the way it was but the Light showed a particular resiliency. The Darkness extinguished the weaker stars and for remaining, the attacks needed to be calculated, precise and executed perfectly or else the Light would continue to drive it back. Each time a core of a star was extinguished the entirety of the Light cried out throughout space which brought a certain sense of elation to the Darkness. Every star that was lost made the Light as a whole weaker and their portion of their existence smaller.
