About the Book
Most people do not realize all the outdoor perils that are dangers to kitties. Most people are aware of some and can list off a few, but they are not aware of the long list of outdoor problems that are out there for kitties. There are real and actual dangers that are associated with the existing outdoor perils. I know that if I need things to be spelled out for me, which I often do, that other people need things to be spelled out for them. Writing on this subject spelled things out for me, about the subject of outdoor perils and dangers for kitties. It’s a sad, pathetic life that outdoor kitties have to live. No outdoor cat has nine lives—that is a myth because kitties don’t live very long, outside. Unfortunately, at the present time, many cats are forced to be and are destined to be outside and I hope this unfortunate trend changes and sooner would be better than later.
About the Author
Kathy S. Thompson started to write after she had been in a car accident and was forced to be more sedentary. Before the accident, she had completed three university programs—English, Education, and Counseling. She writes on a variety of topics. Her degrees are from the University of Colorado and the University of Denver. She is known as an eclectic writer because her topics are diverse, and she is known as a nostalgia writer because much of what she writes about relates to how life used to be and, in some cases, could perhaps still be. She would like some of what was good in the past to be brought back and to stay around. She is also a social-concerns writer. After being in the car accident, Kathy S. Thompson decided that the silver lining would be to write as much as she could as fast as she could. The car she was in was totalled and she continues to have some residual medical problems. Kathy S. Thompson has been a secondary school teacher and a marriage, family, and general counselor. Over the course of her life, Kathy S. Thompson has lived in the States of Washington, Colorado, and Arizona. When she was a child and teenager, she was raised in Canada. Her children are grown and she lives with her several cats.
