About the Book

The Colors of Peace is inspired by a poem from a contest sponsored by the League for the Perpetuation of Democracy. I was only fifteen when this now revised poem won the contest.

About the Author

Preceding books include Becoming All That I Am, The Chinese Contract, Short Stories and Anecdotes, Metric Poems and Haiku, Texas Trails, Appreciating Our Pets, Scarred Lives, and Romantic India. I am a retired English teacher and former artist whose hobbies now include minding a dozen cats, growing vegetables in planter boxes, and taking care of my cedar home on a five-acre pond.
