About the Book

Rebecca Corley has run away from her pitiless home, her laborious job, and her lonely life back home to have a full-time career as the daughter of the rich and cruel Mrs. Turner. However, she’d never thought her new service was ensured with heart-torturing secrets and inhuman responsibilities. Does blood always equal to love?

About the Author

Kafayat Adesanya, born on 18 May 2002, is the first of three daughters. She moved to the United Kingdom at the age of seven but was originally born in Nigeria. Kafayat wasn’t always aware of her passion for writing until she started her education in the City of London Academy, where she picked up an interest in books. At the age of twelve, Kafayat wrote her storybook, which certified her as a writer. Before discovering her love for books and stories, Kafayat had always been a hesitant and lonely girl who had kept to herself for a very long time. After writing My Girl purposely for a girls’ writing competition, which she later on won, the encouragements from her family and friends motivated her to publish her first book. Her passion for writing created a refreshed version of herself. She was who she wanted to be.
