About the Book

Junior and Elena is a (horse) love story. It is a true-life story about how an unselfish, compassionate broodmare named Emprize Hanover adopts an orphan colt as her own. The colt’s dam, Noble Flirt, who was Emprize’s best friend, succumbed to giving birth. Although Emprize had foaled a filly of her own several weeks earlier, the mare took the colt and raised him alongside her daughter.

The two foals grew up together, forming a strong bond that could never be broken. Through their many adventures and racing careers, the two equine athletes proved that dreams do come true.

About the Author

Victoria M. Howard has published 12 books. Her first, WHY WOMEN LOVES BAD BOYS, has been translated and is sold in 15 countries. Ms. Howard once hosted a radio talk and live dating game show where she was known by the media as The Relationship Expert. In 2011 Victoria was awarded VIP WOMAN OF THE YEAR by Who's Who Worldwide. She has been involved in harness racing and breeding and racing horses for 3 decades and has written several books on the subject. Earlier in her life she was a professional model and beauty queen winner who once represented her state in the Mrs. USA Pageant. Today, Victoria lives in Florida with her dog, Max.
