About the Author
Daniel Schultz is Professor Emeritus of social science at Cayuga Community College in Auburn , N.Y. He has presented papers at numerous professional societies including the East Coast Community College Social Science Association, The Irish Studies Association, The Northeast Modern Language Association, The 19th Century Studies Association and the New York State Political Science Association. His writings have appeared in the ECCSSA Journal, the Canadian Journal of Irish Studies, Electronics Across The Curriculum, Crossroads, New Hibernia Review, New Directions For Community Colleges, Royal Armories: The Great Rebellion: India, 1857 , New York History and College Teaching. Dr. Schultz received his BA,MA and PhD. from SUNY Albany. He is the recipient of the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence In Teaching and the Chancellor’s Award for Scholarship Excellence.
