About the Book

The book is a collection of faith based poems that I have written over the years. They are about the beauty of GOD's universe, the promises that GOD made and kept. The faith in GOD that helps us through the hard times. The inspirations and messages we can receive from THE LORD if only we will open our hearts and our eyes to recognize them.

About the Author

I am a born again Christian, having been saved by the grace of GOD, through the shed blood of my savior Jesus Christ. My name is Don Vass. I have been married to my wife, Sherry, for almost 48 years. We have two sons, Scott and Doug and two grandaughters, Dakota and Sidney. We also have a special daughter-in-law, Julie, whom without her computer skills, this book wouldn’t be a reality. I am a retired coal miner/coal mine workers compensation inspector. I reside in Virginia but I was born and raised in West Virginia. I write these poems because they help me do some soul searching and I feel that they have brought me closer to my LORD. My intention for publishing this book is maybe someone would read one of these poems and it would lead them to accept the LORD JESUS CHRIST as their personal savior.
