If you were a mouse, would you live in this house? I would not live in this house and I am a mouse! I would not live in this house at all. The people, the noise, the girls and the boys, this house is just too small. What about the Bathroom, would you live there? I would not live in the bathroom. I would not live there ever. I might slide or slip, if I run I will slither I would not hide in the towels or behind the toilet. This bathroom is dirty, stinky and wet!

About the Author
Born and raised in New England, Nicole Johnson has been writing poetry since she was fourteen. She is married with five children and is an avid reader and book collector. Nicole enjoys writing and traveling with her family to national parks and abroad. She wrote her first published poem titled "Friends Forever" for her eighth grade yearbook in 1987. Her children encouraged her to share this poetic light-hearted tale "If You Were A Mouse" so that other children could enjoy a good giggle as they explore the house through the eyes of the mouse.
