About the Book

One needs to go to the New Testament, and the Gospels specifically, to truly observe the evangelistic plan of Jesus. After all, they are the main eye-witness accounts that we have of the Savior, Jesus, at work (Luke 1:2–3; John 20:30, 21:24; 1 John 1:1). Certainly, the Gospels were composed fundamentally to indicate to us Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and that by faith we can have life in his name (John 20:31). Be that as it may, what we neglect to acknowledge once in a while is that the revelation of that life in Christ incorporates the manner in which he lived and trained others to live. We should remember that the witnesses who composed the books were not just witnesses to the truth; they were changed by it. The task of The Believer’s Guide On Personal Evangelism is to bring people to faith in Jesus Christ. An individual should unmistakably and coherently present the need for Jesus Christ and the provision God has made to address that issue. While there are numerous approaches, this book puts forward the plain facts and the directness of the straightforwardness (simplicity) of the gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

About the Author

The Reverend Dr. John Thomas Wylie is one who has dedicated his life to the work of God’s Service, the service of others; and being a powerful witness for the Gospel of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Dr. Wylie was called into the Gospel Ministry June 1979, whereby in that same year he entered The American Baptist College of the American Baptist Theological Seminary, Nashville, Tennessee. As a young Seminarian, he read every book available to him that would help him better his understanding of God as well as God’s plan of Salvation and the Christian Faith. He made a commitment as a promising student that he would inspire others as God inspires him. He understood early in his ministry that we live in times where people question not only who God is; but whether miracles are real, whether or not man can make a change, and who the enemy is or if the enemy truly exists.
