About the Author

EMELY BATIN-ORILLOS is the author of the bestselling biographical book, BLAZING LIGHT...IN THE GRACE OF ONE JOURNEY, and Frank T. Villa’s co-author of the bestseller,75 YEARS OF JOURNEYING IN GOD’S GRACE. She is a Ph.D. in Language Education from the University of the Philippines. Dr. Orillos is the widow of the late UP Professor, Lorenzo Quiambao Orillos. They have one child, Joseph Mary Peter Paul Lamb. One other special passion of Dr. Orillos is taking care of her menagerie.
