About the Author
SHEL WEISSMAN is the son of hard-working parents who taught him about the virtues of hard work, tenacity, and giving back to family and community. Born in Brooklyn, New York, when most of the people were blue-collar workers and housewives. Roles were rigid, so he learned the values of humor, socializing, and expanding his curiosity to increase fluidity in the environment. His prodigious imagination and storytelling began in primary school writing about fictional adventures, then to high school as an English honors student, and becoming a professional consultant developing activities for curriculum, publishing in juried journals, and in projects he created evaluation documents, and program deliverables. He has published the following books of fictional short stories: • Harold’s Garden • Day of Reckoning • Midnight Train to Trieste • Brooklyn Sunset • The Reunion at Heaven’s Gate • House on the Hill
