About the Book

The book that you are about to read is a collection of poems from different segments in my life. These poems encompass between 2015-2019 Spanning my last year of high school till my first year in the navy. These poems are in no particular order they are more or less a series of raw thoughts and emotions, the experiences shared on these pages I hope they can touch someone in a positive way. They come from different facets and from my many perspectives hopefully they can inspire you, enrich you, explore you, touch you, move you, or somehow make you feel like you’re not alone because in writing these poems I discovered that I am never alone whether it’s with family, friends, sprits of the past, God, or even just my own company. I was inspired by many things and people in my life and this book is dedicated to them and if you have a copy of this book it is dedicated to you. I hope you know you are loved and that I love you,Many things can bring you comfort and I hope my book can be one Sending my love from the moon XOXO Thank you

About the Author

At the time of writing this I am 22 years of age and interestingly enough I feel both younger and older than that simultaneously. Within this short span of life I feel as if I’ve done nothing but the viability and visibility of my impact on people’s lives is irrefutable. My name is Marc Anthony Johnson II named after my father a strong and resilient man. I was brought into this world by my mother Kimberly Lashawn Turner: the embodiment of what it means to be a mother. I originate from Killen, Texas but Dallas is what I call home. Growing up mother and I always moved around coming from a military background a nomadic life was our life. I never saw it as anything but normal every house we lived in felt like home and I truly believe that’s all that matters, but for the sake of this book home was Dallas, Texas and San Diego, California is where I reside now. So may you enjoy a part of me that I haven’t shared with anyone else.
