A Letter To Love

Selena and Mia finally made it to Italy and were excited to get off the plane. They headed to the downtown district to get some food and headed to the hotel. “If there is another bear at this hotel, then you know this guy is a stalker and you should drop him” Mia stated. “Relax girl, I gotta good feeling about this guy, I think he is just a nice guy and would make a good friend.” Selena stated. "Glass is always half full with you, isn't it” Mia muttered back. “Girl lets have some fun” Selena said. They got to the hotel room and Selena immediately ordered pizza so they could chill for the rest of the day. They watched movies and eat pizza all night until passing out late into the evening. The next morning came and Selena wanted to go do a little shopping for some souvenirs from Italy and dragged Mia out of bed. “Come cheecka we gotta go have some fun, the concert is tonight.” Selena excitedly stated. “Selena its 10 am, give me one more hour” Mia replied, while covering her head with the blanket. Selena ripped the blanket off of Mia, “Come we got things to do” Selena insisted. “I hate you” Mia said jokingly. “You love me, now let's go” Selena insisted. Mia and Selena headed out and spent the day looking for souvenirs and cool things that Italy had to offer. Selena found these cool necklaces that the charm split in half. The idea of the necklaces where you gave one to someone and one you kept. She also found the coolest hooped earrings, and she loved hooped earrings, so she got them. Mia found some t-shirts and some bracelets she liked and they both had a great time. It was getting close to the time they needed to head back for the concert, so they headed back so Selena could get ready. Selena headed back to the hotel to change, then to the concert hall so she could get her outfit ready, do her make-up and so forth. Selena often talked about her future with Mia and often told Mia, “Think of it, somewhere in the crowd could be my future husband, I just haven't met him yet” Selena would say. Mia, would just laugh it off and reply with something like, “You never know Selena.” Mia was a good friend, but she also believed that Selena should be with someone else that was famous or in the public eye. In fact, most of Selena's friends felt the same way. Selena felt that love was unpredictable and uncontrollable, and she liked it that way. Selena took a selfie with Mia in from of the concert hall banner that read, “Welcome to Italy's #1 concert hall, where dreams come true every day.” Of course, it was writing in Italian and English both. The concert went on to be a great success and as with any other concert Selena, did a meet and greet with a few fans of hers backstage. One of the fans she met, asked her if someone gave her the huge bear that was on the stage in her last concert. Mia, trying to avoid the subject, tried to hush the fan up while moving to the next fan, but Selena believed in being honest always. “Yes, a friend gave me the bear, isn't she cute” Selena said and pulled out a picture she took with the bear before she left for Italy. The young fan immediately asked if it was her boyfriend, “No, it is just a friend” Selena answered. Then finished the meet and greet and headed back to the hotel with Mia. “You know Selena, people are gonna keep asking questions and start assuming that the bear, came from a boyfriend” Mia firmly stated. “First off her name is Amica, and second, people will assume anything about anything, doesn't really matter what I do or say, they will always assume what they want” Selena answered back. “I am not ashamed to have a friend that cares enough to send me a huge bear” Selena continued. “Selena he's not a friend you don't even know him, this is what I'm talking about, you need to be careful, you're going to allow someone in your life and they are gonna hurt you.” Mia pointed out. “Mia, how did we meet?” Selena asked. Mia rolled her eyes and refused to answer. “Well,” Selena insisted. “We met through one of your meet and greets, and then you bumped into me at the coffee shop and we started talking and became friends” Mia answered back. “That was 10 years ago, and I made a great choice, because you have become my best friend, so give me a little slack, I know what I'm doing” Selena answered. Selena and Mia headed back to the hotel and went to bed as it was very late, and they had to catch their flight back home in the morning. The next morning, they both headed to the airport to head back to Selena's home in California. Selena was happy to return home as it has been a long, but fun trip. Selena and Mia were glad to be back and Selena Went home as did Mia. One the way back to her house, Selena stopped to check her mail, and headed home. Once home She unpacked and went through her mail, “Oh you wrote back” she said to herself. She then prepared a hot bath to relax and read the letter that Mike had sent to her. As she read the letter, she looked at the picture Mike had sent of himself, “Oh your cute” she said to herself again. She continued to read the letter and then sank down into the bath and continued to relax.
