About the Book

Everyone desires a “glorious” future and looks forward to such a future with great hope and expectation. But the journey to that glorious world must certainly go through a goliath or a red sea. So, what do you do when you encounter a goliath in your path? Fight Back or give up? Fighting back is your better option if you must be a partaker of a better tomorrow. Remember, you can only overcome what you are willing to confront. By the way, do you know that the presence of a “goliath or a red sea” in your life signifies that you are one step closer to your breakthrough or destiny? Somethings are worth fighting for! But How? This Book is designed to encourage you by addressing the “HOW?”

About the Author

Reuel is the second of 10 children; the first and only one among his siblings to go through post-secondary education and the 3rd in his native town to earn a terminal degree; distinctions he is not proud of because he desires and has committed himself to seeing to it that more in his community attend post-secondary education. He has a BA in English, a BS in Management Science, MS in Management Information System and a PhD in Higher Education Leadership, Management and Policy. Reuel also holds industry certification in Database Administration and in Research Administration. Reuel spent over 13 years working in the Financial industry before transitioning into higher education. When he is not at work, he spends his time in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, a role he considers as his most important divine’s earthly duty. He has given so many presentations in different settings on topics including but not limited to personal finance, leadership, conflict resolution, and personal responsibility (action). He considers himself as a fighter and believes that his first fight took place the very second he came out of his mother’s womb. Besides his personal fights fighting for a better tomorrow for himself and his family, he has fought against his parents who wanted him to become a medical doctor but he wanted something else; his grandfather and ultimately God (a battle he will eventually lose terribly) who saw in him a servant or slave of Christ but he said he wanted nothing to do with a poor job as such; against his native country as a student leader for the decentralization of higher education and against any system and/ or persons that perpetuates economic and social injustice on a people. It is this fighting spirit that gave birth to “Born to Fight.”
