About the Book

Based on a true story of a mother and daughter relationship. My mother, since birth, always told me I would be number one. She taught me to believe in everything I did and be good at it. I take my mother’s words with everything I do. Thank you mom.

About the Author

Starr grew up in West Philadelphia. She was raised by her mother through majority of her life. Her mother served in the Army, being a military kid is not easy. The constant moving everywhere wasn’t easy, but Starr got through it. Starr continues to be this strong, independent women that her mother raised her to be.
