About the Author

Angelita Valdez, LMSW, RPT-S is a licensed bilingual social worker and Registered Play Therapist- Supervisor, providing bilingual mental health services to children and families. Angelita loves her Latino heritage and is eager to share lived experiences to young readers and families to foster a sense of community and hope. Marisela Sierra, is an entrepreneur and loving mother of two children living in a bilingual home and bicultural life. Marisela is eager to share lived experiences in parenting dilemmas that she has encountered and is eager to share her parenting lessons to other families in creating hope and inclusivity through shared stories.
