Bon Kaup gave a friendly wave to the Thai security guards as he left the villa compound and turned toward the local meat market. He knew Lieutenant Colonel Gray desired fresh pork when he returned from one of his special operations and this promised to be a very special occasion. Bon failed to notice the black sedan that pulled away from the side of the road and followed him toward the village market area. The market was crowded. Parking spaces were scarce. There was, however, one space in front of the pig butchers stall. Bon slowed and pulled the front of the Ford into the space. Suddenly his door was forced open. A large caucasian man pulled him from the car. He was thrown into the street. A second man fired his pistol, wounding Bon in the chest. The two men jumped into Bon’s car and sped away. The black sedan followed. Several market vendors crowded around the severely wounded man. One merchant ran to a local restaurant to call for medical assistance as the crowd tried to comfort him. * * * The car thieves headed back to the Gray Villa. As the stolen car approached the security check point the Thai soldiers opened the gates. Suddenly the unmistakable hiss of two silenced pistol shots resulted in the death of the security detail. The two cars raced for the front entrance of the villa. The four men smashed through the glass front door. Two of the men turned toward the dining room where Mary Gray and nurse Alice Willis were just finishing breakfast. As the men burst into the room Poon Het was entering with a pot of coffee. Again the sinister hiss of a silenced pistol. Poon Het fell with a bullet through her forehead.

About the Book
This is the third book in the Clayton Gray series. Clay and Novak have just returned from their mission into Cambodia where they found and liquidated Marty Johnson, a.k.a. Vladimir Kromar, a long time deep KGB mole in the CIA. In retaliation for the success of their mission, Kromar’s commander, Colonel Alexis Sergeio, KGB, Spetsnaz Commander, has kidnapped Gray’s wife and Novak’s love interest and holds them hostage in Bangkok. He sets terms that indicate he will exchange them for the aircraft and the million dollar gold shipment they confiscated from the Drug Lord, Khun Wa during the operation. While searching for the women with the help of the Thai authorities, they cross paths with the abductors and the women when they escape from their captors. The adventure takes them to the Thai-Laos border for the transfer of the ransom demands. The women are recovered mainly through their own efforts to escape while Gray and Novak pursue Sergeio. The tension continues to build until the transfer is made and Sergeio is cornered. The final outcome of the situation carries the reader to the next book in the series
About the Author
Millard Graham, was a career officer in the USAF. He served multiple tours in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. He held positions as Plans and Operations Officer, Hdqs. MACV/SOG, Flight Instructor, and Squadron Commander in other commands. Since his retirement from military life, he has served as City Manager, and held executive level positions in both the Engineering and Aerospace industries. He holds a bachelor and masters degree from Central Michigan University in Industrial Engineering Management. He currently resides in North Georgia where he is writing the Clayton Gray series.
