About the Book

Seeking answers to questions he has about the backgrounds of his deceased parents fourteen-year-old Bobby Ray Garrett runs away from his quiet Indiana small town, to enter the abrupt reality of a flourishing strip joint section of Chicago.  During the next six days he will experience fear for his life, an introduction to sexual anxiety, an awakening of his own strengths, and an awareness of his ability to truly express feelings for others.

This fast-paced story involves deceit, criminal recklessness, lust and murder.

The real question that evolves is will Bobby Ray be able to find his true heritage, in spite of all that occurs?
